A New Definition of Late Night

The 69th Annual Emmy Awards is redefining and giving the term Late Night a makeover, dressing it up to make fit for the Primetime Awards. Who's coming to host this time? CBS's own Stephen Colbert.

The funny man runs his own show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which airs weekdays at 11:35/10:35 c on CBS. But on September 17th, the only thing he'll be running is the stage in front of A-list celebrities as well as the nominees for the best categories instead of usually sitting behind a desk interviewing those A-listers in front of a live audience.

What exactly is he going to do to keep his guest as well as the rest of the world - figuratively and literally - entertained for 3 hours?  Ah, never fear, with Stephen there is never a dull moment.

Colbert warns us to "Get ready to laugh our socks off" in an interview he did. He says he's practicing in front of a mirror making himself laugh but his wife and kids are another story.

Usually harsh critics eh? Ouch, well at least we'll be laughing with you Stephen.
