Selena Makes A Comeback

Ugh, God Bless soul, Selena, you my friend are a trooper. Selena Gomez makes her debut after her one year break from performing on stage, giving a very powerful and emotional performance at tonight's AMA's. Selena was diagnosed over the summer with lupus and received a kidney transplant from her dear friend, Francia Raisa. And while she confirms the song is about her struggle, many fans view Selena as a fighter and we would be lying if we said we weren't thinking it along with them too.

But tonight wasn't about lupus. Had nothing to do with it! Tonight it was about her breakthrough performance of her newest song, Wolves. The Performance began with a hazy fog (mist) with what seemed like a wrecked car that got stuck in the woods with wolves growling in the background. After a few seconds passed, suddenly Selena belted out some of the opening of her song. 

"In your eyes there's a heavy blue one to love and one to lose sweet divide, a heavy truth..."  Selena was shortly viewed through the mist on the ground in a white negligee, wet hair - which was blond by the way - look. while she didn't do dance moves, she left that up to the dancers, when she was done the crowd burst into applause. 

This moment and song is just perfect for Selena, as we all know she's battled through some woods of her own. 

"the AMA's has been a place where I've shared some of my most intimate moments," she said in a video uploaded to Instagram. During the middle of the hit song The Heart Wants What It Wants Selena actually broke down in tears back in 2014 and it had  fans across the world wandering what was wrong. She later explained the issue, breaking her silence and speaking up about the performance. 

Tonight Selena definitely proved to us who she was, how strong she was, and her talent is still strong as ever.
