Baby for Mindy

Mindy Kaling is unexpectedly expecting her first child and the 38-year-old actress was a little startled but none the less very happy. The news shocked A Wrinkle in Time's cast members, production team, producers and directors but despite the wonderful news, schedules are set in stone. Even though Mindy admits that she wasn't trying to have kids at the time of shooting, she's always has wanted kids.

"I think I've decided that, unlike everything else in my life, I'm going to be fast and loose about kids," Mindy stated in an interview with Yahoo! Style. "I'm going to not actively plan, but if it happens, it would happen."

And apparently she's not particularly picky either about who she has children with. In that same interview the new mom said, "I'm not a cavaliere about who I would have a kid with. But the thing I ask every parent that I really admire, the one comment they all have is they wish they had kids earlier."

Okay. So we know that Disney's A Wrinkle in Time won't change anything about its schedule, but what about the other show, The Mindy Project? Well there's no word to comment on that yet but we do know that the show's final season is set to air on Hulu. 

Regardless of whether or not both the Disney movie, A Wrinkle in Time or The Mindy Project changes or not, one thing they both have in common is everyone certainly is excited and happy for the mommy to be.
